A compass that is a faithful copy of the M2 artillery comp ass used by the US Army. A sturdy, lockable plastic case covers the compass glass, protecting it from scratches or breakage.
The model is equipped with a bearing compass function, thanks to special bearing instruments (a bowtie and a jaw). The design uses phosphorescent markings, make it easier to navigate in twilight.
