Great option, especially if you don't want to prepare your own firelighters. Just shave some off with a knife and you're done. A few sparks from a flint and you have fire. Very useful for emergencies.

Purchase motivated mainly by curiosity. Shaved chips can be easily lit with a fire steel. The wood also smells pleasant – it might come in handy in emergency situations.
