I've already used it many times, it's a reliable and very effective product with other fire starters or tinder. It's light, doesn't take up space, indestructible, and never fails. Even when carried outside in pouring rain for a test, just a wipe with a cloth, a scrape, and there you go – fire started.

A handy firelighter that’s worth taking on trips. It’s compact, lightweight, and inexpensive. Thanks to being infused with resin, it’s easy to light, even with a spark. The biggest advantage is that I don’t have to look for birch bark or bring other firelighters — I have everything I need to make a fire with me. It’s a simple, reliable gadget that doesn’t take up much space and makes camping much easier.

Solid firelighter, very easily catches sparks from a flint. Works well in demanding situations, ignites quickly, and is convenient to carry. I definitely recommend it.

Great firelighter, ready to use straight out of the packet. Easy to cut, lasts a long time. Works even in tough conditions, easy to light with a lighter or flint. Worth buying straight away when on promotion.

Great option, especially if you don't want to prepare your own firelighters. Just shave some off with a knife and you're done. A few sparks from a flint and you have fire. Very useful for emergencies.

Purchase motivated mainly by curiosity. Shaved chips can be easily lit with a fire steel. The wood also smells pleasant – it might come in handy in emergency situations.

I haven't had a chance to use it, but the recipient is very pleased. The string is different to the one in the photo – it's worth checking pictures in other opinions. I'm considering buying one myself next time.
