It is very lightweight, you can hardly feel its weight. A larger and slightly thicker one would be useful, as for men's needs it's just about sufficient :) However, it's definitely worth having in your backpack – it's much better to sit on it than on a cold stone or a wet branch, it's much more comfortable that way.

I purchased two of these and I have actually used them more than my more expensive savotta sit pad. They have a small profile and can be easily packed and for the price they are a no brainer. Highly recommended even if you don't use them to sit on they are handy to have around just for kneeling down doing garden work or something else for example.

A typical sitting mat, but sturdy and perfect for trips out of town. I usually have two with me: one for sitting, and the other for placing things on.

This is another mat from this series that I have bought. They are very comfortable and sturdy, which is why I stick with my choice. It works perfectly while camping, so I always take it outdoors. You can kneel on it when starting a fire or sit comfortably by the campfire to warm up. I definitely recommend it!
