MFH Commander Thermal Pants Trousers - OD Green

Insulated trousers in OD Green, designed for use in cold, windy, and damp environments. The construction combines nylon fabric in a Rip-Stop weave, lightweight polyester insulation, and a quilted lining, providing leg protection and effective thermal insulation.

Water resistance rated at 5000 mm water column limits moisture penetration during light precipitation, contact with wet ground, and field work. The outer material also acts as a barrier against cold wind gusts, while adjustable structural elements allow the trousers to be fitted to the body, footwear, and layers worn underneath.

The outer layer is made of 100% nylon in a Rip-Stop weave. The characteristic structure of the reinforcing fibres reduces the risk of small tears spreading and increases the material's resistance to wear. The nylon fabric is lightweight, durable, and resistant to abrasion. The smooth surface makes it easier to pull the trousers on over an extra layer of clothing.

Thermal insulation is provided by insulation made of 100% polyester. The synthetic fibres trap warmed air and reduce heat loss during use in low temperatures. The polyester insulation retains its properties in elevated humidity. For this reason, the trousers perform well during outdoor activity in changing weather conditions.

The inside of the trousers is finished with a quilted polyester lining. The stitching stabilises the insulation and limits its shifting inside the legs.

The outer material has water-resistant and wind-resistant properties. Water resistance rated at 5000 mm water column provides basic protection against light rain, snow, drizzle, and damp ground. The construction limits cold wind gusts from penetrating the fabric. The materials are made without the use of PFAS compounds.

Additional material reinforcements are used on the rear of the trousers and around the knees. These areas are especially exposed to abrasion, pressure, and contact with the ground. The reinforcements increase the durability of the construction during squatting, sitting, kneeling, and working in various positions.

The model uses side two-way zips running the full length of the legs. This solution makes it easier to put the trousers on and take them off without removing shoes and allows easy access to the pockets of garments worn underneath. The fly is also equipped with a two-way zip, covered by a velcro-closed storm flap. The flap limits the entry of wind and moisture along the closure.

The waistband features an elastic construction and adjustment using velcro fasteners. This makes it possible to adjust the circumference of the trousers to the body and the layers worn underneath. The raised rear part of the waistband protects the lower back and limits the formation of a gap between the trousers and the upper garment.

The model uses durable belt loops with an extended design and a length of approx. 6 cm. The lower parts of the legs are equipped with an elastic finish and velcro fasteners. These elements make it possible to adjust their width to footwear and limit cold air from getting in from below.
