Black low-profile shoes designed for trail running. Thanks to their refined design, they will also perform well during trekking and everyday use. The lightweight, well-fitted construction provides freedom of movement, while the materials used are responsible for durability and wearing comfort. The shoe design was developed not to put strain on the feet during exercises that require dynamic changes of direction, conditioning work, and functional training.
The upper is made from a combination of breathable Mesh and TPU material. The mesh supports air circulation and helps maintain thermal comfort for the feet during intense exertion. TPU elements stiffen the upper construction and improve its resistance to everyday use. The lining and insole cover are made of 100% breathable recycled Mesh.
The model is equipped with a lightweight EVA foam midsole, responsible for cushioning and shock absorption generated while walking on hard and uneven ground. The properly contoured construction supports the natural movement of the foot and improves stability. The ergonomic soft foam insole enhances comfort in use.
The outsole was developed for optimal traction on varied surfaces. The tread with a pronounced pattern increases grip both on dry trails and on loose ground. The sole construction stabilises the feet, which translates into greater safety when moving over uneven terrain. At the same time, the shoe remains flexible, so it does not restrict the natural dynamics of the stride.
The Merrell Fly Strike 2 is equipped with a classic lacing system that allows the shoe to be precisely adjusted to the shape of the foot. The padded collar and tongue increase comfort and reduce the risk of chafing. The inside of the shoe is finished with a breathable lining that supports moisture wicking.

The shoes are very comfortable and convenient regardless of the terrain — they perform well in the forest, on tarmac, and in the mountains. They have good off-road properties as well as quite decent technical specifications. They are great to wear, which is why I recommend them to everyone.
