Durable DuraHide leather, Rip-Stop weave, Lock Ring panel
The gloves are made from a synthetic material and DuraHide leather. The upper part uses a water-resistant Rip-Stop fabric, which minimises the risk of tearing and fraying if damaged locally and increases resistance to abrasion. The cuff fastens with velcro, allowing for a personalised fit. The grip area is made from tough DuraHide leather, ensuring a strong hold, excellent abrasion resistance and good sensitivity. The Lock Ring panel reinforces the thumb area, enhances overall durability and reduces the risk of seam damage in this part. The three-fingerless design offers greater dexterity and full control for detailed work.
TPR panels, impact-absorbing inserts, AirHammer padding
The outer layer of the gloves features durable TPR (Thermal Plastic Rubber) panels (thermoplastic rubber in accordance with EN 13594), offering protection against abrasions and impacts from hard surfaces – making them ideal for indoor use and CQB situations. The segmented panels allow the fingers to bend freely. The palm is fitted with D3O inserts to absorb impact forces and vibrations in the metacarpal area. The side of the hand receives additional protection from AirHammer padding.
Standard EN388-4111XP
The gloves comply with the EN388 protective standard at 4111XP level, indicating resistance to mechanical hazards according to the following parameters:
- 4: abrasion resistance (scale 0-4)
- 1: cut resistance (scale 0-5)
- 1: tear resistance (scale 0-4)
- 1: puncture resistance (scale 0-4)
- X: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (scale A-F)
- P: impact protection (positive test result)
The EN388 standard defines protection levels as follows: 0 means no protection, while the highest ratings (4, 5) indicate maximum resistance.
The TDM test (ISO 13997) uses letters – A represents the lowest level of protection, F the highest.
An X rating indicates that the parameter was not tested or is not applicable. The letter P confirms that the glove meets impact protection requirements.
