They’re an excellent choice for law enforcement and military members, sport shooting enthusiasts, and for use during survival trips, workshop work, DIY projects, and airsoft games. The M-Pact Framer variant, missing three fingers, excels especially when maximum grip control and high precision are essential.

Durable DuraHide leather, ripstop weave, Lock Ring panel

The gloves are made from synthetic material and DuraHide leather. The top of the glove is crafted from waterproof ripstop fabric, which minimizes the risk of ripping or tearing if damaged and improves abrasion resistance. The cuff fastens with velcro, allowing for a personalized fit. The grip side is finished with tough DuraHide leather, ensuring a secure hold, high abrasion resistance, and good tactile feedback. The Lock Ring panel reinforces the thumb area, increasing overall durability and reducing the risk of seam failure in this section. The fingerless design for three fingers enhances dexterity and ensures full control during precise work.

TPR panels, shock-absorbing inserts, AirHammer padding

The outer layer features durable TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) panels meeting EN 13594 standards, which protect against scrapes and impacts on hard surfaces—ideal for use in buildings and CQB situations. These segmented panels allow free finger movement. The palm side has D3O inserts that absorb impacts and vibrations throughout the metacarpal area. The side of the hand is further protected by AirHammer padding.

EN388-4111XP standard

The gloves comply with protective EN388 level 4111XP for mechanical hazards, rated in the following categories:

  • 4: abrasion resistance (scale 0-4)
  • 1: cut resistance (scale 0-5)
  • 1: tear resistance (scale 0-4)
  • 1: puncture resistance (scale 0-4)
  • X: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (scale A-F)
  • P: impact protection (passes test)

The EN388 standard rating describes the protection level of gloves: a rating of 0 means no protection, while the highest scores (4, 5) indicate maximum resistance.

The TDM test (ISO 13997) uses ratings from A for the lowest protection up to F for the highest protection.

X indicates that a particular feature hasn’t been tested or doesn’t apply. P confirms that the glove meets requirements for impact protection.

    Mechanix Wear M-Pact Partial Finger Coyote gloves are another pair from this brand that I chose – and they definitely won't be the last. I decided on this model for the summer. The gloves are well made, and the inside material is very functional both to the touch and in color – stains are hardly visible. The outer material isn't your typical mesh or perforated netting, which the manufacturer's description didn't mention. It consists of several layers, and the outermost one is semi-transparent. I definitely recommend them!

    Mechanix M-Pact gloves are characterized by high durability. The leather on the palm is of good quality, and the protective panels on the back effectively protect your hands. Personally, I prefer the fingerless version—they are much more comfortable to me because they are not as stiff. This is already the fourth set I have bought from Mechanix, and I can recommend the Mechanix Original model if someone cares about more comfortable (less armored) gloves.
