Mechanix Wear ColdWork Base Layer Tactical Gloves - Covert

As with all Mechanix, excellent quality, solid stitching, comfortable to wear and everything else is a plus. Unfortunately, they also have downsides: they let the cold in, so in summer they’ll probably be too warm, and in winter they’re better as an underglove rather than to be worn alone.

I'm torn between giving it 4 or 5 stars, but for now I’m giving it 5, because the product is very well made. The gloves are very comfortable and sewn perfectly. However, I do have some concerns about the durability of the silicone inserts that improve the grip – they work excellently, maybe even too well, because while driving, for example, they stick to the steering wheel a bit too much and there’s not enough slip :P. If there’s a promotion, in my opinion it's worth considering this product as a basic layer for colder days.

Very good gloves – they look great, perfect as a first layer or additional insulation for other gloves. The materials and workmanship are of a high standard. The price is reasonable.

The gloves work great as a first layer; the material is quite thin, typical for powerstretch – very good, they can be an alternative to Helikon Outback gloves.

Very good gloves. I bought them with colder days in mind and they perform great at temperatures close to zero or slightly lower. For deeper frost I recommend choosing something more ski-oriented or using them as an inner layer and putting on another pair of gloves on top. They fit the hand perfectly – I chose size L according to the chart and it fits ideally. The non-slip palm and touchscreen compatibility work flawlessly. I recommend them!

The gloves are extremely comfortable and warm, with stitching that is precise and practically unnoticeable. Thanks to them, you can use your phone without any trouble even on very cold days, as you don't have to take them off. They are also precise when holding various objects or taking things out of your pocket. I highly recommend them – excellent product quality.

I want to use these gloves around freezing point as a "liner/baselayer" for my Gore Windstopper cycling gloves, and they are perfect for this. They fit closely and are neither too thick nor too thin. According to the size chart, I should take (M), but the fingers were clearly too long and the glove overall too loose. The (S) fits like a glove. Coyote is darker than in the picture, but still looks good!

I bought these gloves with walks with my dog in mind, so it was important to me that they were non-slip – and indeed, they perform this function well, even a wet, rubber leash holds securely in them. They also survived a walk in the rain and did not get wet. They are comfortable to wear, although the thumb is a bit too long, but it does not significantly affect the comfort of use.

The gloves are comfortable and work well for autumn. They are made of fleece, so they won’t protect very well against strong wind. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the purchase. Unfortunately, after just one day of use, the seam on the side of the finger came apart. I bought them at the regular price (129.99 PLN), but after the discount the military store refunded me the difference. That was very nice of them, thank you.

Very good quality gloves – they are comfortable, warm, and ideal for cooler days. I haven't tested them yet in subzero temperatures. The gel inserts improve grip, and the touch function works on the phone screen without any problems. I highly recommend both the Militaria.pl shop and the products themselves – they really are high quality.

The gloves are very comfortable, do not restrict finger movement, and provide a secure grip. The longer cuffs are particularly useful, as they prevent a gap forming between the gloves and the jacket.

I have the impression that the technique of putting on a thin glove as the first layer, and then adding thicker ones, is not appreciated enough. In winter it's a great solution, especially during severe frosts and strong winds, but the first layer also works well in autumn.

These thin yet warm softshell gloves pleasantly surprised me with their quality. They work great as an extra layer for colder days, but can also be worn on their own.

I bought the gloves 3 months ago and I am very satisfied with them. Appearance 10/10, comfort as well, I use them in winter and they perform brilliantly. Definitely worth their price, I recommend them to everyone.
