The WZ 2019 combat shirt is a development of the WZ 2010 model design. The changes introduced include, among others, replacing velcro on the pockets with Canadian buttons and using mesh ventilation zones.

The shirt is made of Rip-Stop fabric, combining polyester with light and breathable cotton. Natural cotton fibres provide optimal breathability, while polyester increases the fabric's durability.

The design stands out for its low weight and increased resistance to mechanical damage, resulting from densely woven, thicker fibres that create the characteristic grid pattern. Rip-Stop effectively limits the further spreading of any abrasion over a larger area.

There are 2 pockets on the chest, closed with Canadian buttons mounted on tape. This solution provides secure closure and quieter operation than classic velcro. Additional sleeve pockets expand the shirt's usable space and allow small items of equipment to be distributed across several zones.

The elbow area has been reinforced to improve the fabric's resistance to pressure, friction, and mechanical damage. An additional layer of fabric reduces wear in this area and increases the shirt's durability during intensive use.

The design also includes pockets for elbow protective inserts. The reinforced area, together with the option to use protectors, provides additional protection for the elbows against pressure and contact with the ground.

Mesh ventilation zones placed under the arms improve airflow inside the shirt and make it easier to release excess heat. Their placement supports air exchange in areas particularly prone to heat build-up. The panels used feature a lightweight, perforated structure.

The front button closure is covered by a placket that protects it against accidental unfastening. The buttons make it possible to adjust how open the shirt is, allowing the level of air circulation to be adapted to the temperature and intensity of movement. The stand-up collar increases neck protection against wind and cold. The collar circumference is adjustable with velcro.

The width of the sleeves at the cuffs can be adjusted using durable velcro straps. This solution makes it possible to fit the circumference to the wrist, gloves, and the layer of clothing worn under the shirt. The adjustment also helps stabilise the sleeve and limits its shifting during movement.

The model uses velcro (velcro panels) for attaching any patches or emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches.

The wz.93 "Pantera" camouflage pattern is the camouflage currently used by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland - the first camouflage pattern designed and introduced for widespread use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern combines mimicry and disruptive properties thanks to the use of irregular patches in different sizes. The colour scheme, based on green, brown, and black, was adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making "Pantera" a fitting choice for operations in local terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage are also part of the basic equipment of students in Military Uniformed Classes.
