Morale Patch depicting a teddy bear in bandages against a background of a red Star of Life. It was made of flexible and durable PVC material.

The emblem has been equipped with Velcro so that it can be attached to clothing, backpacks or other items of equipment.

Morale Patches are worn by soldiers and other services alongside patches specific to their own unit to "boost morale." They are a kind of identifying and unifying element of the group, and are an element of soldier humor.
