M-Tac Alpha PrimaLoft Trousers - MM14
Insulated trousers with suspenders made of damage-resistant nylon. Equipped with windproof lining, PrimaLoft synthetic filling , Cordura reinforcements and YKK brand zippers . They are the 7th layer in the ECWCS system and are designed to be worn as an outer layer of protection, worn over thermoactive clothing or other trousers.
Resistant nylon, windproof lining, Cordura inserts
The outer layer and lining are made of durable, abrasion-resistant nylon, which effectively protects against wind and moisture. The material is easy to clean and care for, making the trousers a practical choice in a variety of conditions. Cordura reinforcements in critical areas increase their level of tear resistance.
PrimaLoft synthetic insulation
The interior of the trousers is insulated with PrimaLoft synthetic fill , which provides excellent thermal comfort. This insulation retains its properties even when wet, which means that the trousers offer warmth even in wet and cold conditions. The filling is characterized by elasticity and lightness, which provides effective protection against the cold, while not weighing the wearer down and providing comfort.
Zipper and zippers on the legs
The zipper, which is used to fasten the zipper, is covered by a strip fastened with snaps and hooks. This solution prevents it from jamming, which can be caused, for example, by deposited dust or caked snow. On both legs, in the hip and calf area, there are zippers, which make it easy to conveniently put on and take off the trousers, and also allow access to the pockets of clothing worn underneath.
Adjustable legs and waist, shoe hooks and loops
The integrated Velcro waistband allows you to fine-tune the fit of the trousers. There are drawstrings at the bottom of the legs, as well as adjustable Velcro and snap tapes to adjust the hem. The trousers also feature hooks for attaching to shoes for added stability.
The model features belt loops for attaching a belt and tabs, which allow you to attach or detach the attached suspenders.
MM14 camouflage
The name MM-14 is an abbreviation for маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok = camouflage pattern) and the year 2014, when this camouflage was officially introduced. The pattern is inspired by the American UCP camouflage, but shades were chosen to match the natural colors found on Ukrainian territory. The introduction of the MM-14 camouflage was an important step in the reform of the Ukrainian army, aimed at breaking with post-Soviet influences. Unofficially, the camouflage is also known by the names Ukrainian Pixel Camo and Ukrainian Digital Camo.
