Leather upper, reinforced part of the sole

The raised and stiffened upper made from durable nubuck stabilises the ankle joint and protects against injuries. The overmolded part of the rubber sole protects the toes and heel. The high-stitched tongue prevents water and dirt from getting into the shoe's interior. The front part of the footwear constructed from a single piece of material enhances comfort and allows for better fit to the owner's foot.

Waterproof GORE-TEX membrane

The footwear contains a breathable and waterproof GORE-TEX membrane ensuring proper air circulation and thermal comfort. The membrane also protects against wind, allowing comfortable wear regardless of the prevailing weather.

VIBRAM RENE TRAC outsole, Lowa Monowrap foot support system

Non-slip, cushioned rubber sole Vibram Rene Trac with a profiled tread guarantees stability on terrain, offering excellent grip on various surfaces. The Renegade EVO GTX MID model is equipped with a midsole made of DynaPU material, complemented by a three-dimensional Lowa Monowrap frame providing maximum foot support, stabilisation, and protection against impacts. This system prevents injuries, protecting against damage from different edges, protruding elements, larger stones, or roots.

    These are the best trekking boots I have ever owned. With proper care and waterproofing treatment, they provide very good water resistance and a high level of comfort.     The shoes are beautiful; after a few uses they still look great, the sole is holding up excellently and shows no sign of coming unstuck. The waterproofing is excellent even without any treatment. I have a higher arch and the shoes do not press on my feet, so ++. I highly recommend them for rougher terrain.

    I know they may not be very tactical and you do not look like the commander of a Penguin unit in them, but they are genuinely very comfortable shoes that perform brilliantly both on flat ground and in the mountains — they make you want to keep walking in them. They are comfortable and, as you would expect from Lowa, solidly made. This is already my second pair, and the previous one lasted me more than five years. It is only worth remembering that the presence of a membrane does not mean the shoes will work like wellington boots. They can handle some moisture, but in the rain or during longer walks through wet grass, they will get soaked sooner or later — there are no miracles.

They fit with a bit of extra room, not tight, with thin socks they feel a bit loose, but with thicker trekking socks, the fit is snug and comfortable.     Great company and excellent footwear. The Vibram sole is a huge advantage of these shoes, since the butyl sole versions in military models are of much lower quality. Vibram provides much better grip on wet and slippery surfaces. The leather is very high quality, and the Gore-Tex membrane works excellently.
