The 1-liter bottle features a membrane microfilter that allows you to filter up to 4.000 liters of water. The LifeStraw filter provides easy-to-use water filtration technology that allows you to drink water safely straight from contaminated sources.
The bottle is made of durable BPA-free Tritan Renew plastic. After removing the filter, the bottle can be safely washed in the dishwasher. In addition, the cap is equipped with a useful handle.
The two-stage filtration process uses advanced cylindrical capillary membrane technology to stop bacteria, protozoa and various types of microorganisms larger than 0.2 microns from entering the water. The second stage is an activated carbon cartridge that reduces chlorine and organic chemicals in the water, thus improving its taste and smell.
The filters stop mechanical and biological contaminants with a diameter of more than 0.2 µm, so the vast majority of bacteria (up to 99.999999%), parasites, protozoa (up to 99.999%) and fine particle contaminants such as microplastics (99.999%), sand and silt.
