The 1-liter bottle is equipped with a membrane microfilter designed to purify up to 4,000 liters of water. The LifeStraw filter utilizes a water filtration system that allows for safe drinking directly from polluted sources.

Crafted from enduring BPA-free Tritan Renew plastic, the bottle can be placed in the dishwasher once the filter is removed. Additionally, the cap features a convenient handle.

The dual filtration process employs advanced cylindrical capillary membrane technology to block bacteria, protozoa, and various microorganisms larger than 0.2 microns. The second stage features an activated carbon cartridge that diminishes chlorine and organic compounds in the water, enhancing taste and odor.

The filters effectively intercept mechanical and biological contaminants over 0.2 µm, eliminating a large percentage of bacteria (up to 99.999999%), parasites, protozoa (up to 99.999%), and fine particulate pollutants like microplastics (99.999%), sand, and silt.
