Ledlenser KidLed 2 is a lightweight and compact torch designed with children in mind. It is ideal for playing after dark and in the dark. Very big advantages of the torch are splash resistance and the ability to program automatic shutdown after 20min, which avoids unnecessary discharge, in case the child leaves it on.
The torch is easy to use and has two modes of white light allowing it to work in all conditions. It also stands out in special additional modes, such as warning flashing red or blue light. During group play in the dark, we can divide children into two teams thanks to the constant blue or red light modes. The torch also has a mode of alternating flashing red and blue light, imitating police signals.
The head of the torch is equipped with a clip, so in addition to the classic head strap attachment, the torch can be attached to a backpack or clothing.
The torch is powered by one AAA battery. The battery is included in the kit.

I bought this with my child’s trips in mind. The colour-changing modes work brilliantly. It's compact, lightweight, and easy to use. Since my child is happy to use it and doesn’t want to part with it, it truly is a product made for the youngest. My only concern is with the clip – it could be better secured so that the strap doesn’t come loose.
