The bar itself is fine, at this price it’s hard to expect more. Unfortunately, I noticed that the rubber on the end of the bar slipped off during use, causing the metal to press directly against the door frame and leave a mark.

This is probably the best tension pull-up bar available at this price. Installation is very simple, and the construction itself feels very solid. After a few uses I am very satisfied.

Great pull-up bar, but it’s worth remembering not to install it on wooden frames – it’s a tension model which requires spreading when installing, so the wood can crack. Metal door frames work best.
