Helikon-Tex Wolfhound Windpack Nylon Field Jacket - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland

Light insulated jacket with a regular fit in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, designed for tactical field operations, patrols and everyday wear on cooler days. The construction is made from windproof Windpack Nylon fabric with a hydrophobic coating and IRR/NIR technology, which increases durability, protects against moisture and supports effective concealment under night vision. The model features efficient synthetic Climashield Apex insulation, flexible VersaStretch panels, 4 practical pockets with YKK zips and an included compression sack.

The outer layer is made of ultralight, tightly woven Windpack Nylon fabric with a grammage of 40 g/m2 (100% nylon), which effectively shields against wind and dries quickly. The material is coated with an external hydrophobic coating that limits moisture and dirt penetration into the fabric structure, and it additionally features IRR/NIR treatment (Near Infrared / Infrared Reflective), reducing the contrast of the silhouette in night vision devices. Under the arms, there are flexible, highly breathable VersaStretch fabric panels that improve air circulation and ensure full freedom of movement.

Insulation is provided by synthetic Climashield Apex insulation with a grammage of 67 g/m2, distinguished by very good compressibility, optimal breathability and the ability to keep warm even after becoming completely soaked.

The jacket construction was designed to be worn both as a standalone outer layer and as an insulating layer under a hardshell membrane jacket. The inner side of the stand-up collar is finished with soft fleece, which reduces the risk of neck chafing and improves thermal comfort. The cuffs are trimmed with elastic binding made of VersaStretch material, and the bottom of the jacket is complemented by an adjustable drawstring, which reduces draughts. The jacket stands out for its very low weight and high compressibility, so when packed it takes up little space and fits into the included transport cover.

The model is equipped with 4 practical pockets secured with YKK zips:

• two side pockets - spacious hip pockets, arranged to allow convenient access to the contents even when the backpack hip belt is fastened,
• chest pocket - an external pocket closed with a vertical zip, intended for safely carrying a phone, notebook or map,
• internal pocket - a discreet pocket placed on the inside of the jacket, suitable for carrying valuable small items, documents or a wallet.

The main closure is based on a full-length zip from the renowned Japanese brand YKK, which operates smoothly and allows the jacket to be quickly unzipped to regulate temperature.

Velcro panels are placed on the shoulders, allowing the attachment of identification emblems, unit patches, a national flag or Morale Patches.

The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is the camouflage currently used by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland - the first camouflage pattern designed and introduced into widespread use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern offers a combination of mimetic and disruptive properties thanks to the use of irregular patches of varying sizes. The colour scheme based on green, brown and black was adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making “Pantera” an apt choice for operations in local terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage also constitute the basic equipment of students in Military Uniformed Classes.
