I didn't expect it to be so light, but it's quite dense and high quality. I took the smallest size – it fits my figure perfectly (bust 94 cm), looks quite interesting. Now this brand is one of my favourites.
Helikon-Tex Wolfhound Hoodie Women's Jacket - Desert Night Camo
Women's jacket in the Desert Night Camo pattern provides ideal insulation and protection against the cold and wind. Made from durable WindPack nylon and filled with a synthetic Climashield Apex layer with a grammage of 67 g/m2, it effectively prevents heat loss.
nylon WindPack, Chemours Teflon coating, Climashield Apex insulation
The jacket is made from hard-wearing WindPack nylon fabric, which features quick-drying properties and provides effective wind protection, whilst ensuring adequate air circulation. The fabric has been treated with a water-repellent Chemours Teflon coating, which is resistant to moisture and dirt. The jacket features Climashield Apex synthetic insulation with a grammage of 67 g/m2, which offers an excellent weight-to-thermal-performance ratio, providing protection against the cold even when wet.
4 practical pockets, velcro panels
The jacket is fitted with 4 pockets fastened with zips:
- 2 classic fleece-lined hip pockets
- 1 chest pocket
- 1 inside pocket
There are Velcro panels on the shoulders, allowing you to attach any patches or emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia or so-called ‘morale patches’.
hood, YKK zip
The jacket is fitted with a hood, whilst a YKK zip is used to fasten it. Elasticated trim at the bottom of the jacket, on the cuffs and around the edge of the hood effectively prevents draughts.
lightweight design
The Wolfhound model is characterised by its very low weight and ease of compression. It can be packed into a small stuff sack without compromising its performance. It works well both as a main jacket and as an additional insulating layer.

Desert Night Camo camouflage
Desert Night Camo (DNC) is a specialized camouflage pattern developed by the US Army in the 1980s for night operations in desert areas. Designed to be layered over other uniforms, it was mainly used during Operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf. The pattern consists of a grid-like arrangement of dark green squares and crosses on an olive-green background. Its main purpose was to disrupt early generations of enemy night vision devices. While it proved moderately effective in practice at suppressing images in night vision devices, it was an innovative approach to night camouflage.

I didn't expect it to be so light, but it's quite dense and high quality. I took the smallest size – it fits my figure perfectly (bust 94 cm), looks quite interesting. Now this brand is one of my favourites.

This is the best-cut jacket of this type I’ve ever owned. It doesn’t feel restrictive, but still fits closely enough to keep the wind out. It’s incredibly lightweight and surprisingly warm despite not being bulky at all. The hood is also exceptionally well designed — it stays in place without blocking your field of view. The downside is that the fabric is quite noisy when walking. I originally bought this jacket for wildlife photography, but in it I’d probably be heard by animals long before I could see them. One important thing: you should order at least one size bigger than the size chart suggests. According to the chart, size M should have a 102 cm bust, but mine measures around 95 cm (47–48 cm laid flat). I’m returning mine only to buy a larger size, because this is honestly the most comfortable jacket I’ve worn in a long time and I definitely want it for everyday use. If you don’t specifically need silent outdoor clothing, you’d be crazy not to buy this jacket ;-)

My partner is delighted! So am I, because she looks like an army-style girl, not like those people on the street in winter jackets that look like bin bags or sleeping bags... The jacket is lightweight, warm, and fashionable.
-
A convenient jacket, quite light, suitable for the mid-season and for not too hot weather. Very handy in rainy weather, easy to carry and store, very lightweight, does not restrict movement and does not weigh down the backpack.
-
The coat is light and compact, and a storage bag is included in the set. At first, I had doubts about its thermal properties due to the thin material, but it pleasantly surprised me. It fits the figure perfectly, provides a lot of warmth, and looks very good. As described, it is waterproof. Combined with the Helikon-Tex fleece, it works even during the coldest frosts – I highly recommend it to people who get cold quickly!
-
The jacket is warm and practical, but it has a major flaw – although it fits well in the chest, it is very tight around the hips. It's a shame that the size chart only includes the chest measurement and lacks the hip measurement.

When choosing, I was guided by the desire to support Polish brands and good quality. This is my first purchase from Helikon, but definitely not my last. The jacket has an excellent cut for women, fits great, is lightweight, and at the same time warm. I highly recommend it.
-
The jacket is warm, lightweight, easy to pack and compress. It looks comfortable, but I ordered too small a size, so I'm exchanging it for a larger one. Already having the men's version, I know it's great for cool forest walks. The camouflage has an interesting pattern.
-
The jacket works perfectly as a layer under the MON military Gore-Tex. It is lightweight, takes up very little space in a backpack thanks to the included pouch, so transport is very convenient. Despite its thin appearance, it insulates heat very well and blocks the wind. I recommend the purchase.

This is the best jacket I’ve ever had! It’s warm, very light and takes up little space when packed. Perfect for the forest, fishing or Nordic walking, and it’s also great for cycling on cooler days. I’ve used it in plus temperatures, but I think with proper layering and merino underwear, it will also be good for light frost. However, I wouldn't recommend it for rain. Apart from that, it works great.

The colour is amazing. The sizing is spot on. My wife is happy and looks great in it. As for the weight, it’s incredible – the jacket is almost unnoticeable. I plan to buy the men's version for myself. Highly recommend!
-
A very lightweight and comfortable jacket that still provides a lot of warmth – when combined with a fleece or other layer, it's easily enough for temperatures close to zero. It protects the lower back well, its length is ideal. Standard sizing – I usually wear M and it fits well.
-
I tested the jacket all day in variable conditions: sometimes it rained, sometimes it was dry. Everything stated in the product description is accurate. The jacket protects excellently even against heavy rain and dries very quickly. Once packed into the included pouch, it's really tiny and easy to put away. It is surprisingly wind-resistant for such a thin material, and at the same time, it truly keeps you warm—which I appreciate, as I get cold easily. The size also matches the one given in the description. Definitely worth buying.

The jacket is extremely lightweight and works great in winter. I used it during a mountain trip, and its advantage is that it fits in a backpack.
