MCDU (Modern Combat Duty Uniform) trousers made from NyCo Rip-Stop fabric (50% nylon, 50% cotton), which is highly abrasion-resistant, lightweight and dries faster than 100% cotton fabric.

Thanks to elasticated inserts, the trousers ensure freedom of movement. Mesh ventilation panels with zip fastenings are positioned on the sides of the legs. An additional layer of highly breathable VersaStretch stretch fabric has been used at the waist, behind the knees and in the crotch. Additionally, inside the legs at knee level there are pockets reinforced with 500D Cordura, allowing for the insertion of low-profile protective inserts.

The opening is fastened with a zip manufactured by the Japanese company YKK. At the bottom of the legs and at knee height, there are Velcro straps allowing the leg width to be adjusted. Instead of a button, the trousers feature a wide Velcro fastening that allows for waist adjustment and sizing to suit individual body shapes. They are fitted with 40 mm wide belt loops.

The trousers feature 12 pockets:
- two inset pockets on the hips,
- two at the back,
- two smaller pockets above the cargo pouches,
- two large, front cargo pouches with zips,
- two large, rear cargo pouches with Velcro fastenings,
- two zip-fastened pockets at calf height.

    The MCDU trousers in the Polish wz.93 camouflage are an excellent choice. The NyCo Rip-Stop fabric is extremely durable while also providing breathability and quick drying – an excellent option for challenging terrain. The greatest advantage is the VersaStretch elastic inserts placed in the crotch and at the back of the waistband. Thanks to these, the trousers adapt perfectly to movement when squatting, kneeling or marching quickly, without digging in or restricting freedom. The pockets are well planned, and the additional reinforcements on the knees for protectors are very useful.

    The trousers are well made and fit great – I say this from a woman's perspective. Size S - Long fits the figure perfectly, they're not too loose, and have a well-shaped waistband, which ensures comfort when wearing. Additionally, the number and practicality of the pockets are another advantage.

    I bought two pairs of these trousers, in the multicam and multicam black versions. They are supposedly the same model and the same size, but the differences in workmanship between these camouflage variants are very noticeable. Multicam black is clearly stiffer, and the print starts to turn grey at heavy creases. Additionally, the edges of the pockets are rougher. By contrast, the multicam version is thinner, softer, and the pocket edges do not irritate the skin. If you are hesitating between multicam and multicam black, I recommend choosing multicam because it is simply more comfortable. I do not know, however, what it is like in the case of solid colours.

    The trousers fit me very well and impress with their comfortable fit. The many pockets and practical details make them highly functional for various uses. The quality and workmanship are also up to standard. I returned the PL Woodland variant because it was a bit too conspicuous for everyday wear. Instead, I chose the Helikon-Tex MCDU DyNyCo Rip-Stop trousers in RAL 7013, as they look significantly more understated.

    I bought these trousers for work and they are excellent – they are light, don't restrict movement, and provide plenty of warmth. The fabric is very stretchy and doesn't absorb water, but you need to care for them properly. Although the price isn't the lowest, I think they're worth the investment.
