Helikon-Tex MBDU NyCo Rip-Stop Field Uniform Trousers - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland

Durable MBDU combat trousers (Modern Battle Dress Uniform) in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, designed for intensive tactical operations, patrols and missions conducted in difficult terrain. Made from abrasion-resistant 235 g/m2 NyCo Rip-Stop fabric with NIR/IRR technology, which reduces visibility under night vision, and flexible VersaStretch panels that support freedom of movement. The design is complemented by 8 functional pockets adapted for carrying magazines and accoutrement, contoured knee reinforcements with space for inserts, and durable YKK zips from the Japanese brand.

The construction is based on 235 g/m2 NyCo Rip-Stop fabric made of 50% cotton and 50% nylon, distinguished by very high mechanical tear resistance while maintaining natural breathability. In critical areas, breathable elastic VersaStretch fabric panels have been placed, stretching in 4 directions (4-way stretch), which ensures full freedom of movement during dynamic position changes. The applied Rip-Stop weave effectively limits the spread of potential fabric damage, while NIR/IRR technology (Near Infrared / Infrared Reflective) causes all visible components to absorb and reflect radiation at a level similar to the natural forest environment, making detection by night vision devices more difficult.

The trousers feature a system of 8 ergonomic pockets, providing quick access to equipment during operations:

• 2 classic hip pockets - front compartments with reinforced edges that protect the fabric from damage caused by clips from knives, torches or multitools,
• 2 rear pockets - reinforced open pockets that fit AR rifle magazines or larger EDC gear items,
• 2 spacious cargo pockets on the thighs - large transport pockets fastened with Canadian buttons, allowing secure carrying of gear and convenient handling while wearing gloves,
• 2 calf pockets - compartments located in the lower part of the legs, secured with velcro, suitable for carrying a field dressing or medical kit.

The trousers are equipped with a waist adjustment system with velcro (velcro), allowing precise adjustment of the circumference to the body shape and stabilising the garment under heavy load. The design uses wide loops compatible with battle belts up to 50 mm wide, which reduce the shifting of accoutrement during running and crawling. Additionally, the front loops integrate auxiliary loops, allowing small accessories to be securely attached using a carabiner or cord, and the fly is secured with a durable YKK zip from the Japanese brand.

The knee area is equipped with contoured fabric reinforcements that increase durability during frequent kneeling on hard and rocky ground, with pockets provided for protective cushioning inserts. The bottoms of the legs are fitted with drawstrings with elastic cords and cord locks, allowing the fabric to be tightened precisely around the upper part of the boots and protecting against sand, gravel or insects getting inside.

The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is currently the official camouflage used by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland - the first camouflage pattern designed and introduced for general use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern combines mimetic and disruptive properties through the use of irregular patches of varying sizes. The colour scheme is based on green, brown and black, adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, which makes “Pantera” an apt choice for operations in native terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage are also standard equipment for students of Military Uniformed Classes.
