Helikon-Tex Level 7 Nylon Field Jacket - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland

Winter tactical jacket in a regular fit in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, designed for operations in extremely low temperatures and harsh winter conditions. The construction is made from durable Nylon Rip-Stop fabric with a hydrophobic coating and IRR/NIR technology and filled with thick synthetic Climashield Apex insulation. The model features 5 practical pockets, an adjustable helmet-compatible hood, and a two-way YKK zip. The jacket serves as the outermost, warmest layer of the third-generation ECWCS clothing system.

The outer layer is made from durable Nylon Rip-Stop fabric with a grammage of 235 g/m2 (100% nylon), which effectively shields against wind, moisture, and snow while maintaining an optimal level of breathability. The reinforced Rip-Stop weave limits further tearing of the material after mechanical damage, while the hydrophobic coating protects the garment structure from moisture and dirt penetration. The fabric has undergone IRR/NIR treatment (Near Infrared / Infrared Reflective), allowing it to absorb and reflect near-infrared radiation at a level similar to the natural forest background, reducing silhouette contrast in night vision.

Thermal insulation is provided by thick Climashield Apex insulation with a grammage of 100 g/m2, which does not clump, offers high compressibility, and effectively protects against frost even after becoming completely soaked.

The jacket construction has been adapted for wear over thick clothing layers or tactical accoutrement. The spacious, fully helmet-compatible hood can be adjusted using elastic shock-cord drawstrings and, when needed, stowed inside the high collar lined with soft fleece. Velcro-adjustable cuffs and a drawstring at the bottom allow the jacket to be sealed tightly against penetrating cold air and snow.

The model is equipped with 5 practical pockets:

• two outer chest pockets - roomy, lined with soft fleece to warm the hands, equipped with inner compartments for a phone and small gear,
• inner chest pocket - positioned at chest level, closed with a zip, intended for documents or valuable accessories,
• two lower inner pockets - made of elastic mesh, allowing quick drying of wet equipment such as gloves or a cap.

The main closure consists of a durable two-way YKK zip that provides easy access to equipment worn under the jacket and efficient ventilation without the need to fully unzip the garment.

Velcro panels are placed on both shoulders, allowing the attachment of a flag, unit emblems, or Morale Patch type patches, enabling quick customisation of the jacket.

The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is the camouflage currently used by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland - the first camouflage pattern designed and introduced for widespread use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern offers a combination of mimetic and disruptive properties thanks to the use of irregular patches of varying sizes. The colour palette based on green, brown, and black was adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making “Pantera” a fitting choice for operations in native terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage are also part of the basic equipment of students in Military Uniformed Classes.
