Fjord Nansen Ski Kevlar Socks - Black/Green
Socks with an anatomical fit, intended for outdoor activities and everyday wear. They are made from a blend of natural merino wool and polypropylene, supporting thermoregulation and moisture wicking. Stop-Bacteria and Anti Odor System solutions help limit bacterial growth and the formation of unpleasant odours, while reinforcements and protective zones improve durability and wearing comfort.
Merino wool, polypropylene and technical fibres
The material composition includes natural merino wool, which supports thermoregulation, moisture wicking and the reduction of unpleasant odours. The addition of polypropylene improves moisture transport and shortens the material’s drying time. The Stop-Bacteria system is based on Prolen Siltex fibres with silver ions, which help limit bacterial growth, while the Anti Odor System helps maintain freshness during extended wear. The materials used meet the requirements of Oeko-Tex Standard 100, confirming that they have been tested for the presence of harmful substances.
Reinforced construction and good fit
The socks are made with elastic Lycra fibres that support a good fit to the foot and limit material shifting during movement. Reinforcements at the heels and toes increase the durability of areas particularly exposed to wear. Flat seams in the toe area reduce the risk of chafing, while a special weave at the foot flex point reduces excessive material bunching. Protective zones on the instep and shin help reduce pressure when wearing footwear, and the design is completed with stabilising cuffs that keep the sock in place.

Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is an international certification system for textiles, confirming that a product is free of harmful chemicals. The Oeko-Tex label on clothing indicates that the product meets stringent health and environmental safety standards.
Anti-Odor technology with antibacterial properties eliminates unpleasant odors, preventing the growth of microorganisms.
The innovative Stop Bacteria system uses antibacterial Prolen Siltex fibers made with silver ions to inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi and mold. Its use translates into a reduction of unpleasant odor.
Merino Wool is a material with natural antibacterial properties. It is distinguished by the lightness and softness of its fibers, its ability to absorb moisture and its high thermoregulation. The wool does not absorb odors, is anti-static, breathable, easy to clean, fire-resistant, and protects against UV radiation.
Kevlar is a synthetic aramid material that has high strength and tensile strength. It was developed by DuPont in the 1960s and is used in the manufacture of protective clothing and tactical equipment, helmets, car tires, and bulletproof clothing. It is used in products that require protection from mechanical damage, including cutting and shooting.
