Thanks to the elongated handle, eating food, such as freeze-dried food, straight from the pack becomes more convenient. The embossing along the handle increases the rigidity of the design, providing greater durability. A hole is provided in the back for hanging a spoon or threading a string.     I bought this spoon to make eating from a food flask (750 ml, palm-deep) more comfortable. The spoon works great – it is sturdy and you can easily eat even very dense dishes with it, such as compact rice, groats, pasta or meat. Additionally, it's lightweight and has a hole for a lanyard, which is really useful. Advantages: there are quite a few. Disadvantages: it could use a built-in bottle opener on the handle and a small notch at the end of the handle to make it easier to open tightly sealed containers. It is really WORTH buying.
