Fjallraven Nordic Heater Cap - Dark Olive

A cap in olive colour, designed for use in low temperatures, strong wind and precipitation. The construction includes an insulated main section, fur trim on the visor, ear flaps and edges, as well as a system that allows the coverage range to be adjusted to current weather conditions.

The ear flaps can be folded up and fastened at the sides using buttons. When lowered, they protect the ears, cheeks and neck. An additional strap allows them to be secured under the chin, which stabilises the cap during strong gusts of wind.

The outer layer is made of 100% polyester. The material is lightweight, durable and resistant to everyday use. The applied waterproofing limits water penetration and supports protection against moisture and wind. The lining is made of 100% polyamide. The smooth inner layer increases wearing comfort and makes the cap easier to put on and take off.

Insulation is provided by synthetic polyester filling, which traps warmed air and reduces heat loss. The fibres retain their properties even in elevated humidity. The cap is equipped with a membrane made of 100% polyurethane. It limits the penetration of water and wind through the material and complements the protection provided by the outer layer.

The inner finish and ear flap elements are made of Arctic Fur material, which is composed of 100% acrylic. The synthetic fur is distinguished by longer, soft fibres that create additional space for trapping warmed air.

Arctic Fur is located primarily on the inner side of the ear flaps and on the edges of the cap. When lowered, the ear flaps protect the ears, the sides of the face and part of the neck, reducing these areas' contact with cold air. The soft structure enhances wearing comfort.

The ear flaps can be raised and fastened at the sides of the cap using buttons. This setup reduces the coverage range when the ears do not require full protection.
