ESS Crossbow 2LS Tactical Glasses Anti-Fog - Smoke Gray/Hi-Def Bronze

Tactical glasses from the Cross-Series line were developed for effective eye protection. The design combines a durable visor made of polycarbonate, a wide field of view, UVA/UVB filters and a quick lens replacement system.

The set includes visors in 2 versions: Hi-Def Bronze and Smoke Gray. This makes it easier to match light transmission to lighting conditions. The brown visor transmits 62% of visible light, while the grey one transmits 15%, making it better suited to strong sunlight.

Polycarbonate visors in 2 colours

The visors are made of polycarbonate with a thickness of 2.4 mm. The material protects against impacts, fragments, splinters and other mechanical hazards encountered when operating in demanding environments. The visors are made to the ESSOPTICS standard, which ensures a clear, distortion-free image. The wide, one-piece design increases both the level of protection and the field of view.

The lenses protect against UVA and UVB radiation. The filters reduce the impact of ultraviolet radiation on vision during prolonged outdoor use.

The set includes 2 colour variants:

  • Hi-Def Bronze - visible light transmission at 62%, improves contrast and performs well in changing light conditions
  • Smoke Gray - visible light transmission at 15%, reduces the amount of light reaching the eyes in bright conditions

Interchangeable visors allow the glasses to be adapted to conditions at the shooting range, in the field or during outdoor activities.

ClearZone FlowCoat technology, DedBolt system

The visors use ClearZone FlowCoat technology, which includes 2 protective layers:

  • an inner coating that reduces fogging
  • an outer layer that increases scratch resistance

The anti-fog coating helps maintain image clarity during exertion and temperature changes. The outer layer protects the polycarbonate surface from minor scratches that occur during use and cleaning.

The DedBolt system allows quick visor replacement without tools. The latch uses shaped notches at the ends and an opening in the centre of the visor.

Tri-Tech Fit and Z-Bend frames

The frames are made of flexible composite material and equipped with Tri-Tech Fit and Z-Bend technologies. The design reduces pressure points and improves stability during extended wear. The Z-Bend temples are suitable for use with hearing protectors and communication headsets.

The inner side of the temples features a non-slip rubber finish. This element improves glasses retention during movement, running and work in a bent-over position. The model is equipped with an interchangeable nose bridge made of composite and silicone. This element stabilises the frames on the face, improves comfort and reduces slipping.

protective standards, retaining strap

The glasses meet the requirements of the following standards and specifications:

  • U.S. MIL SPEC MIL-PRF-32432
  • ANSI Z87.1-2015
  • U.S. OSHA
  • CE EN166

The set includes an elastic retaining strap. It can be attached to the temples to reduce the risk of losing the glasses while running, working in the field or during dynamic movement.
