An ultra-lightweight helmet designed for climbing and mountaineering. Made in In-Mold construction of durable polycarbonate and expanded polystyrene (EPS). The ergonomically shaped interior of the helmet is equipped with a soft liner that can be removed and cleaned if it gets sweaty or dirty.
The helmet is designed to fit very snugly on the head. An upgraded Wing-Fit system with a rear dial and a chin strap with an under-ear buckle for added comfort is responsible for adjustment.
The Shield II model can be used both in summer and winter. Large air vents provide good airflow and high comfort of the helmet. Four handles allow stable mounting of a head flashlight.
The helmet provides highly effective head protection during climbing. It meets the requirements of EN 12492 and UIAA standards.
