The DPI C701 - Black gas mask arrived in its original, sealed packaging. Of all the masks I own (including Maskpol and Secur), this one provides the best visibility and wearing comfort. It can be used with glasses, which is not possible with the Maskpol mask. In this model, the size is universal, whereas with the Maskpol mask it has to be chosen individually – I myself have the largest Maskpol size due to my large head. The DPI C701 - Black mask is also cheaper than American masks and features a polycarbonate visor, just like the more expensive models from overseas. I also bought filter-cartridges for it from the manufacturer, available on militaria.pl, which have a 10-year shelf life. I highly recommend this product.
DPI C701 Gas Mask - Black
The DPI C701 full-face gas mask, when used with filters, absorbers, or filter absorbers, provides comprehensive protection for the respiratory system, eyes, and facial skin against vapours, gases, dust, smoke, mist, and aerosols. The model’s AIR-ON exhalation system ensures comfortable breathing and reduces visor fogging.
High-strength construction
The main part of the mask is made from black, non-irritating hypoallergenic rubber blend. Panoramic visor class 1 made from scratch and impact-resistant polycarbonate materials provides a broad field of view, and the adjustable 5-point fastening allows for individual fit.
Rd40 x 1/7" thread
The model is equipped with Rd40 x 1/7" thread, compatible with dust, gas, and combined filters with threaded connection, which complies with EN-148-1 standard.
Note!
The mask does not contain a filter absorber; it must be purchased separately or in a selected set.
Standards
The C701 mask meets the following standards:
- EN 148-1 - a European standard defining the standard threads (Rd40 x 1/7", known as NATO thread) for respiratory protective equipment, particularly full and half masks.
- EN 136:1998 - defining the requirements and tests that a mask must undergo to be approved for use. This standard means that the mask should allow continuous work in an atmosphere with the presence of hazardous substances.
- EN 166 - a European standard defining the general technical requirements for personal eye and face protective equipment (glasses, goggles, shields) against various hazards such as impacts, radiation or liquid splashes.
