They are not as comfortable as the standard Direct Action leather gloves, but they do provide better protection against the cold and work well for shooting on colder days. I’m deducting one star due to the way the fingers are stitched—the seam sometimes catches on the trigger during more energetic shooting, whereas in standard DA gloves the fingers are sewn differently.

The outer and inner sides of the gloves are made of DuPont Nomex material and goatskin. This material is characterized by high resistance to ash as well as flames. The gloves have been further reinforced in key areas, making them much more durable. They provide a firm grip, and ideally protect the hands during work.
Extended, elastic cuffs provide partial protection for the wrists. A functional loop has been placed at the wrist for easy donning and doffing of the gloves, also allowing the gloves to be clipped to your equipment
