The spacious main compartment is closed with a zip. Inside, there is a compartment for a water tank from a hydration system. On the front, there is a medium-sized pocket equipped with an organiser. The design is also complemented by zipped pockets on the hip belt and open mesh pockets on the sides and front.
durable material, DWR coating
The backpack is made of recycled 210D polyamide. The material is resistant to damage and abrasion while also helping maintain a low weight. To increase water resistance, the fabric is coated with DWR, which also improves resistance to dirt and makes cleaning easier. The materials used are free from harmful PFAS compounds.
attachment loops, compression straps
The Futura backpack is also equipped with straps for attaching trekking poles and loops that allow a helmet carrier to be attached. Compression straps are placed on the sides to stabilise the load or attach larger items that do not fit inside the backpack.
Aircomfort carrying system, rain cover
One of the biggest advantages of the Futura 27 model is the ventilated Aircomfort carrying system, responsible for high comfort during hiking. The system is based on spacer mesh, thanks to which the back does not come into direct contact with the backpack. This solution maintains airflow, which significantly reduces back perspiration. Breathability is about 25% better than in backpacks with a traditional carrying system.
Comfortable carrying of a loaded backpack is ensured by a spring steel frame and shoulder straps and a hip belt filled with soft foam. The model is also equipped with a chest strap with adjustable height and width, allowing it to be tailored to individual needs. The set includes a rain cover.

Deuter Aircomfort
Deuter Aircomfort is a ventilated carrying system that improves the comfort of the backpack. A flexible frame with a spacer mesh creates a ventilation space between the user's back and the back panel, which ensures very good air circulation. Anatomical profiled shoulder straps covered with MeshTex fabric and ventilation pads on the waist belt, improve air circulation and absorb moisture, while cushioning the weight of the backpack.

I think this backpack is quite lightweight, definitely very comfortable, and its carrying system does a great job. The previous version, Futura 28, also kept my back dry even during hot days in the mountains.
