Deuter Freerider Backpack 30 l - Neptune/Night Blue

Deuter Freerider in the Neptune/Night Blue colour version, with a capacity of 30 l, is a backpack designed for winter mountain activities such as ski touring, freeride or climbing. The design combines low weight with durability and an extensive package of technical solutions that meet the demands of advanced users.

The backpack is made of 200D polyamide reinforced with Rip-Stop weave. The material stands out for its high resistance to mechanical damage while maintaining lightness and flexibility. The back panel is covered with a fabric with a smooth structure that effectively reduces snow and ice adhesion, improving comfort during use in winter terrain.

The interior of the backpack makes it easy to organise equipment efficiently. The main compartment can be accessed through a wide U-shaped rear opening, allowing you to quickly reach your gear without having to unfasten skis or a snowboard. A compartment intended for avalanche equipment is located on the front, supporting fast action in emergency situations. Inside there is a pocket for wet items and a mesh divider closed with a zip. The backpack is compatible with a hydration system up to 3 litres. The shoulder strap features a system for storing glasses, the front has a fleece-lined goggle pocket, and the internal organiser with a key clip improves storage of small pieces of equipment.

The LiteSnow carrying system combines low weight, water resistance and carrying comfort. It is based on a flexible Delrin U-frame and an ergonomic back panel with a special arrangement of EVA foam pads covered with spandex, which effectively wick away snow and moisture. Softly padded, properly shaped shoulder straps and hip belt with gear loops, adjustment options and additional pockets allow the backpack to be fitted to the user's body and ensure even weight distribution. The design does not restrict head mobility, and stabilising straps increase safety and carrying comfort even when fully loaded. The chest strap buckle with an emergency whistle and the SOS label further increase safety in the field.

The extensive system of straps and attachment points allows for convenient transport of equipment. Skis can be attached on the sides or diagonally, a snowboard and snowshoes on the front, and an ice ax and poles at dedicated attachment points. The whole setup is complemented by compression straps that stabilise the load, stabilisers that help maintain balance, and a sturdy handle for carrying the backpack by hand. In addition, a detachable mesh helmet holder has been used to make it easier to carry the helmet during ascents or stops.
