Delta Optical BioStage II Microscope
Biological microscope designed for learning and observing specimens in bright field. Suitable for students, teachers, educational laboratories, and people beginning to explore the microworld. It allows observation of fresh and permanent specimens, such as plant and animal tissues, small aquatic organisms, and structures visible in biological materials.
The upright configuration uses a monocular head set at an angle of 45 deg., which makes observation easier without excessive bending of the head. A stable base, mechanical stage, and coaxial focus knobs create a set of solutions that improve work with the specimen at different magnification levels.

The microscope is equipped with a WF 10x eyepiece with a 16 mm field of view and 4 achromatic objectives mounted on a 4-position revolving nosepiece:

The revolving nosepiece allows efficient switching between objectives and gradual increase of magnification without removing the specimen from the stage.
convenient micro and macro focus adjustment
On both sides of the body there are coaxial macro and micro focus knobs. Coarse adjustment allows quick initial focusing, especially at lower magnifications. The fine adjustment knob is used for precise image refinement, which is particularly important when observing with 40x and 100x OIL objectives.
The double-sided arrangement of the knobs allows the microscope to be operated with either the right or left hand. The coaxial design makes it possible to use both adjustments without changing hand position.
achromatic optics in bright field
The model uses achromatic optics, which reduces basic chromatic aberrations and supports obtaining a clear image during educational observations. The microscope works in bright field, one of the basic methods of light microscopy. The image is formed by light passing through the specimen placed on the stage.
This technique is used to view thin, properly prepared biological samples. It allows observation of their overall structure, cell boundaries, tissues, and other elements visible in transmitted light. The range of application depends on the type, thickness, and preparation of the specimen used.
LED diode, 2 types of power supply
The transmitted illumination light source is a LED diode, located in the microscope base. It provides stable light and does not heat the specimen to the same extent as traditional bulb light sources, which supports longer observations.
The microscope can be powered from AC mains or by three AA batteries. Battery power makes it possible to conduct classes, presentations, or observations in a place without permanent access to an electrical socket.
Abbe condenser and illumination control
An Abbe condenser N.A. 1.25, which concentrates light on the specimen, is placed under the stage. It works with an iris diaphragm that allows adjustment of the amount of light passing through the sample. Proper diaphragm setting helps match contrast and brightness level to the objective used and the type of material being observed.
The condenser is also equipped with height adjustment and a filter holder. The adjustment allows its position to be adapted to observation conditions, and the holder allows the use of compatible optical filters.
mechanical stage and specimen movement
The specimen stage measuring 125 x 110 mm is designed for work with one slide. The X and Y axis movement mechanism allows smooth movement of the specimen without touching it with the fingers. This solution makes it easier to precisely locate the selected area of the sample, especially at high magnifications where even slight movement changes the observed fragment.
The built-in vernier scale makes it easier to determine the specimen position on the stage and find the area of interest again. The holder stabilises the slide, limiting its movement during focus adjustment and objective changes.
