Defcon 5 Urban Shell Jacket - Black

A hooded jacket in black, combining low weight with solutions useful for outdoor activities, tactical use, and everyday wear. The body is made of 20D nylon, while the sleeves and hood are made of 50D polyester. The shoulder area is reinforced with 300D Cordura, which increases the wear resistance of these sections during intensive use.

The jacket uses materials of different thicknesses, selected for specific zones. Lightweight 20D nylon is used in the body, while the sleeves and hood are made of 50D polyester. The shoulders feature 300D Cordura reinforcements - in areas particularly exposed to abrasion and strain, including when carrying a backpack.

The front and back of the torso are filled with synthetic insulation, creating an additional insulating layer in the body area. Quilted stitching keeps the filling in the right position and gives the panels an even layout.

The jacket design is complemented by side pockets lined with soft and warm microfleece. The zip pockets allow for secure carrying of small items.

On the sleeves there are additional zipped pockets intended for small accessories worth keeping within easy reach. Next to them are velcro panels for attaching compatible patches, ID panels, or markings.

A full-length zip is sewn into the front of the jacket, making it easier to put on, take off, and adjust the closure. The main zip is protected by an internal windproof strip, which limits wind penetration. The high stand-up collar protects the neck from cold and gusts. The inner side of the collar is finished with fleece, which improves thermal comfort.

Zips placed on the sides serve 2 functions: they increase airflow and provide access to gear carried under the jacket. When unzipped, they improve ventilation or act as practical access openings without the need to remove the outer layer.

Waist adjustment allows the jacket circumference to be adjusted and helps limit cold air from entering from below. Elastic cuffs keep the sleeves at the wrists and help maintain a proper fit.

The hood can be adjusted to weather conditions, and when not needed - completely detached. This solution allows the jacket configuration to be changed depending on the weather and preferred way of wearing it.
