Trekking boots with high-quality natural leather uppers. Equipped with a solid Omni-Grip sole and Omni-Tech membrane, which guarantees water resistance of 10,000 mm/m2 and breathability of 10,000 g/m2. They are perfect for both off-road and everyday use.
PU layer, additional reinforcement
Made of natural leather coated with PU and suede. Additional reinforcements increase durability and stiffen the structure in key areas, ensuring comfort and safety during use. The high-sewn-in tongue effectively prevents water and dirt from getting inside the shoe. Covering long distances becomes more comfortable thanks to the anatomically shaped polyurethane midsole made with Techlite technology, which effectively absorbs shocks and uneven terrain.
Omni-Grip sole, speed lacing system, 4 eyelets
The grooved sole made of high-quality Omni-Grip rubber is characterised by high abrasion resistance and provides excellent grip, enabling stable movement in various conditions, including snow and icy surfaces.
The upper part features a quick lacing system, which includes two pairs of steel hooks for quick and easy shoe removal and 4 pairs of classic grommets.

At first glance, the shoes look bulky, but in reality, they are very light and provide good ankle support. They are carefully made, and their appearance fits both in the city and in the forest. I'm still curious how they will cope with waterproofing and breathability, as I'm always cautious about manufacturers' promises in this regard. This is already another pair of Columbia shoes I've bought, and once again size 45 fits perfectly. For those who have trouble with sizing, I recommend measuring your foot and checking the chart before buying – I myself didn't use to do this ;)

I bought Columbia Newton Ridge Plus WP II – Elk/Black shoes, which match the description, are well made, and are suitable both for trekking and for everyday wear.

After a few weeks of use, I can say that the shoes are really excellent and exceptionally durable, with the leather being soft and sturdy right from the first wear. I personally tested their waterproofness during a few downpours as well as daily walks through a meadow covered in wet grass. Unlike ordinary shoes, these did not let a drop of water through to my socks, not even once. Additionally, they're easy to lace up and comfortable even for running.

I have had a pair of these shoes for about 4-5 years and I can definitely recommend them. I use them most of the year, mainly in the city, but they have also proven themselves the woods and during a trip to the High Tatras. The shoes are very durable, and apart from some light wear around the toe, they look almost like new after being polished. The sole still holds up, with only minor tread loss and some abrasions around the heel and toes. However, I noticed that one of the pairs was made of slightly thinner leather, as it developed permanent creases from the beginning, while the second pair is still practically free of any signs of breaking.

They look great and appear to be very durable. They are carefully made and look even better in person than in the photos. They fit the foot well and, despite being sturdy, they are not heavy and are as comfortable as sports shoes. You can easily choose the right size using the size chart. They just need to be impregnated and they are ready to go for an outdoor trip.
