CMP Bharat Mid Trekking Boots - Piombo

Trekking boots with a mid-height upper in Piombo colour, designed for demanding mountain expeditions, long-distance marches, and activities in varied terrain. The upper is made of natural nubuck leather and fitted with a leather inner lining, while cushioning is provided by a contoured Ortholite insole supported by a rubber midsole. The whole construction is set on a Vibram Grivola outsole using an Xs Trek rubber compound, ensuring high durability, stability, and very good traction on uneven and slippery ground.

The high upper is made of natural nubuck leather, distinguished by high mechanical durability, tear resistance, and an aesthetic finish. The stiff upper construction supports the ankle joint during steep ascents and descents, protecting the foot from injuries in demanding terrain. The leather adapts to the anatomical shape of the foot, providing proper mechanical protection against sharp stones and roots.

The inside of the boot is lined with 100% natural leather, which provides natural breathability, high wearing comfort, and reduces the risk of chafing during many hours of marching. Effective shock absorption is provided by the advanced Ortholite 0,085D Ultra 25+/4 insole with a polyester top layer, retaining its resilience for a long time while supporting foot freshness and moisture wicking from its underside.

The lower part of the boot is based on a durable rubber midsole and a Vibram Grivola outsole (Vibram Xs Trek). The applied Vibram Xs Trek rubber compound ensures the right balance between flexibility and abrasion resistance while maintaining stability on wet surfaces. The deep, properly shaped tread provides secure grip on slippery, muddy, and rocky trails, while also effectively shedding accumulated mud.

The construction uses a classic two-zone lacing system based on solid metal eyelets in the lower part and durable hooks in the upper section of the upper. This solution allows precise adjustment of lace tension to the anatomy of the foot, ensuring secure heel hold and ankle stabilisation without causing pressure points.
