The belay device is designed for various forms of climbing, suitable for both beginners and advanced users. It works with dynamic single ropes with diameters from 8.5 to 11 mm. Allows the belayer to lower a partner by lightly pressing the device while holding the free end of the rope.
It comes with a heavy-duty HMS Concept SGL HC carabiner made of lightweight aluminum alloys and anodized coating. It is equipped with an ACL system to prevent unwanted carabiner rotation and a Catch Free lock. The double-T design provides a great weight-to-strength ratio.
The V-Proof system reduces the risk of error caused by incorrect rope guidance during braking. It consists of a movable baffle that facilitates the activation of the rope locking assistance system.
The gauge should only be used with the included HMS Concept SGL HC carabiner.
The model complies with EN 15151-2:2012 Type 2 and UIAA standards.
