Robust construction, roofline design
The body, made of lightweight yet robust magnesium alloy, has been coated with a rubber coating to protect it from scratches and damage. In addition, the sealed construction, filled with dry nitrogen gas, prevents the lenses from fogging up from the inside. Thanks to the roof system, the binoculars have a slim and ergonomic form. A diopter is placed on the left eyepiece , allowing the user to adjust the focus to differences in vision between the eyes. Observation comfort for spectacle wearers is ensured by eyecups with a twist-up mechanism. The possibility of mounting on a tripod, thanks to the presence of a 1/4 ‘ thread, increases image stability for longer observations.
BaK-4 glass, FMC coating
The Trailseeker model offers a constant 10x magnification, and precise focusing is provided by a centrally located mechanism. The optical system based on BaK-4 prisms combined with the 42 mm objective lens provides a bright and detailed image even in low light. The minimum focusing distance is approximately 2 metres. Multi-layer FMC anti-reflective coatings reduce flare and light loss, improving observation quality and image contrast.
