Casio G-Shock Mudmaster GG-B100XM-1AER Watch

Digital-analogue field watch in a black shade, featuring a silver stainless steel bezel. The Carbon Core Guard construction offers enhanced resistance to shocks, mud and dust ingress, while 20 bar water resistance makes the watch suitable for swimming and breathing apparatus-free diving. This model features Quad Sensor technology, Bluetooth connectivity and functions supporting navigation as well as activity monitoring in the field.

The watch is powered by a quartz movement with an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month, and a CR2025 battery delivering around 2 years’ operation. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to pair with a smartphone, automatic time synchronisation and access to extended Casio Watches app options. The range of app functions includes, among others, changing settings, using world time, route logging and phone finder.

The Mudmaster GG-B100XM-1AER comes equipped with a Quad Sensor unit:

• digital compass — indicates direction in 16 points, covering 0–359 degrees, north marked with a pointer, with magnetic declination correction
• altimeter – measures elevation from -700 to 10,000 metres, saves up to 14 manual readings, and logs both ascents and descents automatically
• barometer – monitors pressure within a 260–1100 hPa range, displays a variation chart and provides a signal alert on sudden weather changes
• thermometer – measures ambient temperature between -10 and +60 degrees Celsius
• pedometer with 3-axis accelerometer, recording up to 999,999 steps

When linked with the app, two useful outdoor features are available: Mission Log, which records your route along with altitude profile, and Location Indicator, where after saving a map point, the second hand indicates direction and the display shows the distance to your target.

20 bar water resistance enables submersion up to 200 metres. Special button seals and internal filters limit the infiltration of mud, dust and fine particles into the mechanism. The construction safeguards against shocks, allowing intensive use even in extreme environments.

The case, measuring 55.4 × 51.3 × 19.4 mm, is made from resin reinforced with carbon fibre. The Carbon Core Guard design boosts the case’s strength, protecting the movement from deformation. The forged stainless steel bezel is multi-faceted with a matte, brushed finish to reduce light reflections and minimise visible scratches. The dial is protected by spherical mineral glass, and indications are shown by three hands together with a negative digital display. Functions are operated by side buttons, and the hand shift mechanism makes it easy to read data.

Dual Super Illuminator LED backlight illuminates both the dial and the digital display. Auto Light function automatically activates the light when you tilt the watch towards your face, with illumination duration selectable at 1.5 or 3 seconds. The hands are coated with Neobrite fluorescent material for better readability after dark.

The strap is made from flexible bio-based resin, resistant to moisture and sweat. Carbon reinforcements on the inside improve stability and ensure a better fit to your wrist. A metal buckle allows adjustment within a 145–215 mm range.
