In real life, the watch gives the impression of being a very solid and luxurious product; it is carefully made and looks great. Although it belongs to the Mudman series and I trust its durability, I wouldn't decide to throw it against rocks – the metal bezel is more expensive to replace than the rubber ones in cheaper models.

Casio G-Shock Master of G Premium Mudmaster Watch GWG-B1000-1AER
Modern watch from the Master of G series, characterised by exceptional durability, resistant to mud and sand. With water resistance at the level of 20 bars, the watch can be submerged to a depth of up to 200 metres. The watchcase is equipped with strong sapphire glass and a Carbon Core Guard case, made from resin reinforced with carbon fibre. The anti-reflective coating on the glass ensures easy reading of the time even on sunny days. Internal elements are protected by a layer of AlphaGel, absorbing vibrations and safeguarding the mechanism from strong shocks.
Solar mechanism, Full-Auto Led illumination
Precise timekeeping is ensured by a solar mechanism powered by solar energy through Tough Solar technology. The watch offers digital-analog time reading thanks to its dial with hands and display. The automatic hourly correction system checks and, if necessary, corrects the position of the hands. Full-Auto Led illumination and the Neobrite fluorescent material applied on the dial and hands make it easier to use the watch in low light conditions or in complete darkness.
Numerous sensors
Mudmaster GWG-B1000-1AER is equipped with a range of sensors:
- digital compass - sensor allowing to determine magnetic north
- barometric altimeter - detects changes in atmospheric pressure, based on which it calculates altitudes up to 10000 metres
- barometer - measures air pressure in the range 260 - 1100 hPa; the pressure change graph displayed on the watch allows for early detection of weather changes
- thermometer - measures ambient temperature in the range from -10 to +60 deg. C and presents the result on the display.
Additionally, the watch allows for receiving the WaveCeptor radio signal, which enables automatic updating of the time displayed on the watch.
Flexible strap
Strap made from flexible material, fastened with a metal buckle, ensuring comfortable wearing on the wrist. The strap material is resistant to moisture and sweat, enhancing its usability during various activities.
Bluetooth technology, Casio Watches application
The use of Bluetooth technology enables the connection of the watch to mobile devices supporting Android and iOS systems.
Thanks to the Casio Watches application, the user can perform automatic time correction on the watch and easily adjust it to their preferences. The application also allows for time zone selection from over 300 cities and remembers visited locations. It includes a phone finder function, which triggers a loud sound signal when the watch and phone are within range, making it easier to find them.
The watch automatically connects with the smartphone to verify time accuracy and corrects it if necessary.

This is already my next G-Shock watch in the series. They are not only durable and practically indestructible, but also look very attractive. I very much like the sporty-military design, without unnecessary extras. It certainly won't be the last Casio in my collection.

It works great as a companion for trips. Equipped with a compass, thermometer and altimeter, it offers everything you might need during hikes. It's quite large, but at the same time light and very comfortable to wear. I definitely recommend it.

An outstanding watch, practically indestructible. This is already my third Mudmaster and each one works perfectly, still operating flawlessly. I recommend it to everyone. Thanks to solar charging, the watch works continuously. This edition of the Mudmaster uses Bluetooth only for configuration via smartphone, which is an interesting addition.
