A lightweight anorak made of nylon with a grammage of 102 g/m2, finished with a hydrophobic DWR coating in Rain Defender technology. This model is designed for people looking for clothing that is lightweight, durable and easy to pack, suitable both for everyday wear and for outdoor activities or work in changeable weather conditions and during light rain. The construction combines a loose Relaxed Fit with practical solutions, providing effective protection against moisture, efficient airflow thanks to the mesh lining and full freedom of movement.
Lightweight construction with a hydrophobic coating
The outer layer is made of lightweight nylon, which stands out for its high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The applied hydrophobic DWR coating (Durable Water Repellent) with Rain Defender technology causes water to bead up on the surface of the material and run off freely. This solution effectively limits rapid soaking of the fabric and protects against light rain, allowing continued activity in the field.
The inside of the jacket is finished with a breathable polyester mesh lining, which supports air circulation and helps dissipate excess heat. The sleeves use a smooth nylon lining that prevents the material from catching on clothing worn underneath and makes it easier to put the jacket on and take it off quickly.
3 practical pockets, integrated hood
The jacket is equipped with three practical pockets: a spacious central top-loading pocket into which the entire anorak can be packed, and two lower pockets fastened with zips, making it easier to safely carry small items and warm your hands.
The integrated three-panel hood with drawstring adjustment effectively protects against wind and cold. A partial zip with chin guard makes the jacket easier to put on and allows for quick ventilation adjustment. Velcro cuffs and a slightly extended back with a drawstring reduce draughts and provide better protection for the back during movement.

Great product, as usual Carhartt maintains a high standard – the hoodie is warm and waterproof. The only minor downside is that the jacket could be a few centimetres longer – apart from that, a very good option and solid workmanship.
