Bushnell Engage 10x42 Roof Binoculars
Binoculars from the Bushnell Engage line with a fixed magnification of 10x and a lens diameter of 42 mm. Thanks to advanced technologies, this model offers exceptionally high resolution, contrast, and a wide field of view. It features adjustable eyecups and a dioptre correction option, providing comfort during lengthy observations and personalised adjustment. The Roof (roof) prisms give the model compactness, and its dimensions allow for easy carrying in a small bag.

The lenses are made of specialist glass with a low light dispersion coefficient ED (Extra-low Dispersion). These lenses guarantee above-average resolution and contrast, practically eliminating chromatic aberrations often visible in less advanced models as purple or yellow colour anomalies at the edges.
The lenses are coated with FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) anti-reflective coatings, securing all air-glass boundaries with multiple layers, significantly reducing unwanted reflections and light loss. The use of UWB (Ultra Wide Band Coating) adds additional anti-reflective coatings on all lenses.
The advanced protective coating EXO Barrier Protection prevents water droplets and dust from settling and is scratch resistant, facilitating observations even on rainy days. This technology also protects against breath fogging.
The roof prisms are coated with advanced DPC (Dielectric Prism Coating), ensuring maximum brightness and clarity, enhancing colour reproduction, resolution, and contrast. Additional PC-3 Phase Coating eliminates losses associated with phase shift of reflected light waves.
Durable construction, rubberised coating
This model uses BaK-4 glass, the highest quality optical material used for making prisms in binoculars. BaK-4 glass prisms offer brightness and image quality at a level unattainable for binoculars with cheaper BK-7 glass.
The binoculars meet IPX7 water resistance standards (possibility of submersion in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 metre).

BaK-4
BaK-4 are high-end prisms made of Barium Crown glass, containing barium oxide. They are used in advanced optics such as binoculars, telescopes and finders, where image quality is crucial. BaK-4 glass is characterized by a high refractive index, resulting in a sharp, bright and well-contrasted image with minimal chromatic aberration. With excellent light transmission, these prisms perform particularly well in low-light conditions.
DPC - Dielectric Prism Coating
DPC (Dielectric Prism Coating) is an advanced dielectric optical coating applied to roof prisms in Bushnell devices. The use of this multi-layer coating increases the reflectivity inside the prism to more than 99%, resulting in better light transmission, higher image brightness and more faithful color reproduction.
ED Prime
ED Prime Glass is a high-performance Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass used in the lenses of Bushnell optical devices. EXO Barrier
EXO Barrier is the latest generation of protective coating developed by Bushnell, applied to the outer surfaces of lenses. Water droplets run off immediately and dirt does not adhere to the glass, ensuring maximum image clarity in all conditions. The EXO Barrier coating is permanently bonded to the surface of the optics, resistant to abrasion and effective for the life of the device.
FMC - Fully MultiCoated
FMC (Fully MultiCoated) is a technology used in optical devices to apply multi-layer anti-reflective coatings to all lens surfaces in contact with air. This solution effectively reduces reflections and light loss, improving brightness, contrast and image clarity. The increased light transmission translates into a sharper and more detailed image, which is crucial when observing in limited light conditions.
UWB - Ultra Wide Band
Ultra Wide Band (UWB) is an advanced anti-reflective coating technology used in Bushnell optics. This is definitely my best purchase in the last month. I am delighted. Previously, I used Nikon binoculars with the same magnification, and the image in these binoculars is completely different. I didn’t think the difference could be so significant. I definitely recommend them!

The image is bright, high in contrast, very sharp and provides a wide field of view. The purchase fully met my expectations and I am extremely satisfied with it.

The binoculars are excellent. The magnified image is exceptionally sharp, bright, with an incredible amount of detail. Previously, I used an old military 7x45 and this new one is a completely different quality – it's like switching to a Mercedes. Highly recommended, definitely worth buying.

The Bushnell Engage EDX offers excellent optics and build quality – I rate my purchase very highly. It performs extremely well in both low light and bright sunny conditions. It’s comfortable to wear, not too heavy, and fits perfectly in the hands. The image is clear and sharp; everything within a 2-kilometre radius is easily visible, and at closer distances, the detail is superb. For example, at distances up to 46 kilometres, you can spot buildings and structures, especially on very clear days. Highly recommended!

Binoculars. I'm at a loss for words to describe them. They're a true treasure, not an ordinary pair of binoculars. Nothing has ever brought me so much joy. They're simply outstanding. Highly recommended – fantastic binoculars.

Great binoculars, definitely worth their price. They are very bright and do not darken the image, which is especially important. They also perform well in low light conditions. I appreciate the dioptre adjustment – even people with significant vision defects can comfortably enjoy the views and nature. For example, you can see car registration numbers from a distance of a kilometre. I bought them as a gift for my husband and he is very pleased.
