Brunnirok Marburg Cut-Resistant Protective Scarf - Navy

Scarf in Navy colour, designed for neck protection against knife attacks and sharp objects. The specialist cut-resistant insert has been fully concealed between the fabric layers, allowing the whole piece to retain the form of a classic scarf and making it suitable for everyday wear without drawing attention. The protective zone covers the full circumference of the neck and extends from its base up to under the chin, providing a high level of protection in key areas.

Inside the scarf, a modern cut-resistant material has been used. The protective layer has been integrated around the entire circumference of the scarf, so it shields the neck and nape without increasing the thickness of the construction or affecting the appearance of the product. This solution effectively raises the level of cut protection while maintaining wearing comfort. The outer layer is made of lightweight and breathable cotton, which improves comfort of use and supports natural air circulation. The inner material consists of:

• Aramid (50%) - responsible for very high mechanical resistance and cut resistance, forming the primary protective component
• polyester (33%) - stabilises the structure of the material, increases its durability in use, and improves resistance to stretching and deformation
• fibreglass (17%) - serves a reinforcing function - high hardness and resistance to blade action make it harder to penetrate the material, creating an additional protective barrier

The scarf provides a high level of cut protection, meeting the requirements of European standards for protective clothing. The materials used and the construction provide effective protection against sharp tools and mechanical hazards:

• cut protection level 5 in accordance with EN 388:2016 - the highest level of resistance to mechanical cuts on a scale of 0-5
• cut protection level D in accordance with EN ISO 13997:1999 - high resistance to cuts from sharp tools at a specified force of pressure (scale from the lowest A to the highest F)
• compliance with EN ISO 13688 and Regulation (EU) 2016/425 - meets the requirements for protective clothing and is marked with the CE symbol

The manufacturer recommends washing at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, without using bleach, and separately in a protective bag. Do not tumble dry or expose to direct sunlight. Ironing is permitted at temperatures up to 110 degrees Celsius. Dry clean only with tetrachloroethylene solvents.
