In real life, the colours are a bit more earthy. It's as if someone lightly dyed UCP with tea water ;) One note regarding the camouflage itself: after coming out of the water and in low light, it starts to closely resemble the Ukrainian MM-14. At 178cm/72kg with a waist of 82, size M fits perfectly, although they're tight around the thighs. This means that with water activity, the whole thing rides up the legs a bit. In my opinion, they should definitely be wider. A bigger size would require tying the waist quite tightly, which wouldn't be comfortable. I’m deducting one star each for this and the material. The material has its pros and cons. Pros: it dries quickly, doesn’t chafe, and so far maintains its colour even after frequent washing and use in chlorinated water. Cons: you get cold very quickly in these shorts. A few minutes after coming out of the water, it gets really cold—I noticed this using them in an indoor pool. I definitely wouldn't take these to a lake or outdoor pool. In my opinion, it's down to the material (it's 100% polyester, by the way)—it's thin and dries fast, but as a result, it insulates poorly. Compared to other shorts that don't chill you, I found that the material in these shorts is woven differently, almost like canvas, so it has to absorb more water. About comments regarding the pockets—the zipped back pocket is a winner. The side pockets are good in my opinion. If they were deeper, they’d turn inside out when submerging, making them awkward to use (try putting wet hands into a plastic mesh and then try taking out something small—you’d get a similar effect).

The shorts match the description and are of good quality. The only drawback in my opinion is the shallow pockets, so I'm taking away a star ;)

When it comes to shorts, Brandit is my favourite company. I also had Mil-Tec Swimming shorts (also in size S), but in those I look like I'm wearing hand-me-downs from my older brother. These ones are great :-) The pockets are also well designed.

Great shorts, they are comfortable, breathable, and look fantastic in this camouflage pattern. Perfect for spring and summer. They also go very well with my camouflage blouse. I am very happy with the purchase.

Great swimming trunks, a big advantage is the pocket with a zipper. High-quality material. Product tested, really worth recommending. Everything is fine.

Great shorts. I used them at the pool and they worked perfectly. The size meets my expectations. The material is of good quality, I can honestly recommend them.

Overall, the shorts are fine, they have good and breathable material. The deep back pocket is a plus, but the side pockets are definitely too shallow – hardly anything fits in, and you can easily lose something. That's why I'm deducting a star.

Great shorts for warm days. They are suitable both for everyday wear and for swimming. They dry very quickly, the material is solid and resistant to abrasion. The length is perfect, reaching just above the knee.
