The quality-to-price ratio is very good, the jacket has a detachable liner and a stowable hood, it’s like a mini version of the M65 ;) It’s probably not suitable for very cold days or sub-zero temperatures, especially since my son gets cold easily, but overall he’s satisfied. He is about 150 cm tall and the jacket in size 146/152 is perfect for a slim boy.
A year-round children's jacket modeled after the legendary M-65. The fabric blend used (80% polyester and 20% cotton) is characterized by water resistance and durability. It is equipped with a hood concealed in the collar, 4 pockets (two each on the chest and waist) and shoulder paddles.
The jacket is an exact reproduction of the M65 cut used by the US Army since the Vietnam War. The M65 is a true legend - practical, comfortable, roomy, strong, and has a multitude of fans around the world. As a matter of interest, we can say that it has been used many times in movies and TV series, and has been worn by characters created by such actors as Sylvester Stallone in Rambo, Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver or Bronislaw Cieslak in 07 Come On.
On the inside, it is equipped with a cotton lining and a zipper, to which you can quickly and efficiently attach the added warm undercoat made and filled with synthetic fabric. This makes the jacket suitable for wearing at any time of the year. For the child's comfort, it is additionally stabilized with buttons sewn at neck level and in the sleeves.
Additional protection against the cold is provided by Velcro adjustable cuffs and a drawstring waist.
The M65 model closes with a zipper, which can be further covered by a snap-fastening strip , which ensures better temperature maintenance under the jacket and protects against the penetration of strong winds through the zipper. The lath also prevents the zipper from blocking due to the accumulation of dirt, dust and sand, or even freezing water on it or clumping snow.

Camouflage Woodland
Woodland, also known as U.S. Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern introduced to the US Armed Forces in the early 1980s, based on the earlier ERDL camouflage. For over two decades, it remained the standard pattern used by the US military until the end of the first decade of the 21st century. It is characterized by large, irregular patches in shades of green, brown, beige, and black, which provide good camouflage and deformation properties, especially in wooded areas. Thanks to its effectiveness and global recognition, it has spawned numerous variations that have found their way into over 60 uniform formations around the world. The pattern has also had a huge impact on popular culture, shifting from military applications to everyday fashion.

The jacket surprised me very positively, Brandit has faithfully recreated the M65 in a children's version – the differences are only in details such as sewn-on epaulettes instead of buttoned ones, a slightly different placement of the buttons for the liner, and a different material, which is understandable. The quality is of course lower than the contract versions or Helikon ones (a lot of sticking out threads, etc.), but that doesn't matter, because my son's joy at having a jacket like his Dad's is priceless. As usual, a big plus for Militaria – I ordered it on Friday evening and the package was already in the parcel locker on Saturday morning.

I had to buy the jacket twice – the first time it was definitely too small, but the second time, when I chose a larger size, it fit perfectly. The jacket fits well, is warm enough even without the liner, and with the liner it’s not cold and protects well against the wind. Rain is not a problem. Instead of the hood sewn into the jacket, it’s more convenient to wear a hat, as the hood is a bit uncomfortable.

The jacket is very well made, the delivery arrived the next day, everything went perfectly. I am very satisfied with the purchase, and so is my grandson. I will definitely use your services again.
