The jacket is very warm. It is a variation on the Bundeswehr parka, but without most of the flaws of the original. It has an interesting cut, a very thick lining (unfortunately, when the lining is removed, the jacket becomes baggy), and the option to adjust the waist. The hood is also large and equipped with a lining. Made from cotton with a weave similar to the original, it provides good protection against rain and snow after impregnation. The material is fairly breathable, allowing for air exchange. The jacket is better suited for use during severe frost. I am satisfied with the purchase and recommend it to others.
