Badger Outdoor Survival Ultralight Poncho

A survival thermal poncho is one of the essential parts of any survival set. Thanks to its multifunctionality, it will find use in hiking, outdoor, rescue and even uniformed services. The NRC poncho is designed to protect the human body from rapid heat loss and negative weather conditions, such as wind or rain.

It is made of waterproof and durable plastic, whose surface reflects up to 90 percent of heat, protecting the body from cooling. It is metallized on both sides in silver and orange. The reflective color makes it easy to find an injured person in the field.

The dimensions of the poncho when unfolded flat are 130 x 98 cm. It is equipped with arm holes 42 cm wide and a large hood. When folded, the whole thing is compact and can easily fit into a backpack compartment or jacket pocket.

The poncho can also be used as:
- a thermal blanket to cover the body,
- a warming pad for a hammock or a top layer for a sleeping bag,
- a picnic blanket or tent floor to insulate against the cold and wetness of the ground,
- sleeping bag in emergency conditions,
- a way to transmit a signal by reflecting light.

The set includes a drawstring carrying bag and an emergency whistle.
