Alpinus Uluru Primaloft Jacket - Black
Black light jacket designed for use during transitional seasons - in autumn, spring, as well as during mild winter conditions. It combines PrimaLoft insulation, a wind-resistant construction, and practical solutions that perform well both outdoors and in everyday use.
Low weight and high compressibility translate into comfort, while the springy structure of the insulation effectively retains heat, helping maintain optimal thermal comfort without restricting freedom of movement.
Nylon with DWR coating, smooth lining
The outer material is made of 100% nylon. The fabric used stands out for its low weight and high resistance to everyday wear, creating an effective barrier against cold air.
The outer layer is coated with a DWR finish, which increases the material's water-repellent properties. Water droplets run off the fabric surface, instead of immediately soaking into its structure. The coating helps protect the jacket from light rain, drizzle, morning dew, and moisture.
The smooth structure of the material on the inside improves wearing comfort and makes it easier to quickly put the jacket on over additional layers of clothing.
Advanced PrimaLoft insulation
The jacket is filled with modern synthetic PrimaLoft insulation, made from 100% polyester from recycled sources. The fibre structure effectively traps warmed air, insulating the body from low outside temperatures.
The insulation used stands out for its high loft and low weight, while retaining its thermal insulation properties even during intensive use in varied outdoor conditions. The evenly distributed fill provides stable protection against heat loss while maintaining full mobility.
Thoughtful pocket layout
The Uluru model is equipped with a total of 3 zip pockets:
- 2 outer zip pockets

The jacket is equipped with an integrated, adjustable hood that protects the head, forehead, and face from cold and light precipitation. At the front there is a main YKK zip running from the bottom edge of the jacket all the way up to the high collar. The zip features a chin guard to protect the chin from contact with the slider, as well as a zip pull for easier operation while wearing gloves. When fully zipped up, the raised collar and hood provide additional protection for the neck and head against cold and gusts of wind.

PrimaLoft is a synthetic microfiber insulation material developed in the 1980s for the US military. It is composed of properly formed polyester microfibers that trap air inside, creating an insulating barrier with high compression capabilities. It features good water repellency (retains 96% of its properties when wet), windproofness, breathability and anti-allergenic properties.
