The jacket's features are very good. It's comfortable and fits nicely (though that's an individual matter). A nice bonus is the detachable hood and a rather wide collar – you can put a fleece under it, zip it up, and it won't squeeze your neck.

A Lightweight softshell jacket with detachable hood sewn from stretch fabric to protect against wind and moisture. Lined with warm fleece material for protection against the cold.
The jacket is equipped with a membrane that provides water resistance of 15000 mm H20 and breathability of 10000 g/m2/24h. The technical outer fabric has water repellent properties that slow down the penetration of water into the next layer of the garment. The adjustable hood, Velcro-fastened cuffs and adjustable hem of the jacket provide a sense of comfort in adverse weather conditions.
The jacket is fastened with a zip. The high collar provides excellent protection from the wind. The side pockets and chest pocket with laminated zips have been finished with taped seams, which slows down the absorption of external moisture.
The Alpinus Safety reflective print on the hood increases safety when moving around after dark in high traffic areas.

I live in Scotland on a daily basis, where the weather isn't the best, so softshells work best. I bought this particular model for work and it turned out great. It’s not a women's cut, but I prefer slightly looser clothes – the men's version suits me better. The jacket breathes, protects against rain and wind to the right degree, so I think it was a great purchase.

It's a decent jacket – light and well made. I’m 168 cm tall, 98 cm chest, 68 kg – size S fits snugly, a thermal shirt with a thin turtleneck fits, but a thick jumper probably won’t, especially in the shoulders and sleeves. In moderate rain, it repelled water for almost an hour. Breathability is average, wind resistance is good. Worth picking up on a promotion, but I probably wouldn’t pay the standard price. More for the city than for outdoor use. Overall, I recommend it.

I'm disappointed with the jacket. The product description is misleading: “Jacket fastened with a zip, which is covered by a windproof flap” – there’s no flap, unless the seller had something else in mind. It also lacks chin protection and a 'hood' over the chest pocket – the zip doesn't close all the way up. It performs poorly in terms of breathability. On the plus side, it’s waterproof – it handles long, heavy rain well. The pictures of the red jacket show things that are missing from the purchased item.

I chose this Alpinus softshell together with their rain jacket, planning to pick one for autumn... and I ended up keeping both. The softshell fits great, as if it was tailored for me, it’s comfortable and nicely made. The only thing I don't like is the red accents, but that's a matter of taste. In summary – at this stage, I'm very satisfied.

Great, lightweight jacket, fits perfectly. I haven’t had the chance to test it in tough conditions yet, but it looks solid. Not a single defect. I used the size chart and got it right first time. Plus for the detachable hood. I recommend it!

I'm 180 cm tall and weigh 82 kg – size XL fits perfectly. I have long arms and the sleeves are the right length. The jacket looks good quality for its price. The softshell material is typical – slightly stiff and rough. I was looking for a jacket for mountain trips and this one seems great.
