The workmanship is top-notch, typical for Alpha. Unfortunately, the pockets are a total letdown. Both from the inside and outside, you access the same space, making it easy to lose, for example, keys, which could fall out under the jacket. Additionally, there is a hole going all the way through, so the pocket entry is completely open. Another downside is the stiff zips in the hood, which are uncomfortable, especially when driving – I feel like I have a hump and can't lean back properly. On the plus side, the hood offers good protection against wind and the jacket is warm. In summary: quality and insulation are five-star level, but the pockets make the jacket difficult to use comfortably – you could possibly sew them up from the inside, then you can get by even with the hood. I also need to mention the buttons – they come off very easily, especially if used often. I solved this by sewing them through a small button underneath, so the thread doesn't get cut by the cord, but that solution is mainly for people familiar with sewing.

Alaskan-type jacket with a deep hood for high thermal comfort in low temperatures. The interior was filled with synthetic insulation, which guarantees effective protection against the cold. The upper part and the lining were sewn from durable and tear-resistant nylon, which protects against wind and moisture.
The jacket is fastened with a one-way zipper, which has been secured with a large button-closed storm flap. This solution ensures better temperature maintenance and protects against the penetration of strong winds. The flap also prevents the zipper from blocking due to dust accumulation, as well as water freezing on it or snow clumping.
Synthetic fur inside the hood and a furry element protect the face and head from cold, precipitation or wind. Elastic cuffs and waist belt , as well as a drawstring at the hood, prevent cold air from entering, increasing perceived thermal comfort and providing a very good fit to the user's build.
The N2B model is equipped with two side snap pockets and one zippered aviation pocket on the sleeve, with a red "Remove Before Flight" tag next to the pocket. There is also an additional hidden pocket inside for small items.
