Alpha Industries MA-1 Heritage Jacket - Force Green

MA-1 Jacket, made of durable, tear-resistant materials, provides excellent protection against cold, wind and moisture. The reversible design, inspired by the jacket's original purpose for USAF pilots, gives you the option of wearing it both in classic style and with a reflective orange side that increases visibility in difficult conditions. Thanks to its well-thought-out construction, insulation and numerous pockets, the jacket will work well for both everyday use and outdoor activities.

The upper part was sewn from durable and tear-resistant nylon, which protects against wind and moisture. Synthetic polyester fiber filling provides thermal comfort in cold temperatures.

The MA1 can be worn on either side. The inner part is made in a reflective orange color scheme. This distinctive solution is related to the original purpose of MA-1 jackets for USAF pilots. In the event of a malfunction or shoot-down, they had a better chance of being rescued by search services. Nowadays, this ingenious solution can work well when moving along the side of an unlit road outside a built-up area.

The main closure of the MA-1 Heritage model is a one-way zipper finished with an eco-leather handle, which makes it easy to operate with gloves. An internal thermal strip covers the zipper and further protects against chilling. At the collar, on the wrists and at the waist there are elastic welts, which protect against the cold and allow a better fit for the wearer.

The jacket is equipped with five capacious pockets:

• two front ones closed with patches and snaps,
• two inside ones closed with snaps,
• one on the left sleeve, closed with a zipper.

On the sleeve near the pocket is a Remove Before Flight tag, adding to the military style. There is a manufacturer's logo tag on the left sleeve.
